FSC Certification

We are now certified to FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) standards by the SmartWood division of the Rainforest Alliance. This certification highlights our commitment to use paperboard generated by suppliers who practice responsible forestry using wood harvested from well managed forests. Certification to FSC standards will allow our customers to incorporate the FSC logo and statements on packaging utilizing certified materials.

Wind Power

Wind power now generates 100% of the electrical energy needed to operate our 130,000 square foot facility in Fridley. This makes us the largest commercial business in the state of Minnesota to derive supplied energy entirely from "green power".  The environmental impact of this conversion is equivalent to planting over 123 acres of trees.  Additionally, this change awards us with membership in the Green Power Partnership, an EPA sponsored program that recognizes organizations demonstrating environmental leadership through the use of green power.

Security Tag Sourcing Systems

We have installed a new high speed Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) source tagging system which was custom engineered for our production requirements. It allows us to apply security tags with greater precision and speed. The result – faster turnaround – reduced costs.
