04.18.07 - Johnson Printing & Packaging attains FSC certification  
(SW-COC-002294) Johnson Printing & Packaging Corporation announced today that they have been certified to FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) standards by the SmartWood division of the Rainforest Alliance.  The certification highlights Johnson Printing & Packaging's commitment to use paperboard generated by suppliers who practice responsible forestry by using wood harvested from well managed forests.  Certification to FSC standards will allow Johnson Printing & Packaging to incorporate the FSC logo and statements on packaging utilizing certified materials.

03.01.06 - Johnson Printing & Packaging converts to Wind Power...
Johnson Printing & Packaging is pleased to announce that wind power now generates 100% of the electrical energy needed to operate their 130,000 sq. ft. Fridley facility, making them the largest commercial business in the state of Minnesota to derive their energy supply entirely from "green power".  The environmental impact of this conversion is equivalent to planting over 123 acres of trees.  Additionally,  this change awards Johnson Printing & Packaging with membership in the Green Power Partnership, an EPA sponsored program that recognizes organizations demonstrating environmental leadership through the use of green power.
